ReplyDeleteA little over a year ago, I read this quote by Tyne Daly, who opted to go gray: "You know, my hair is very upsetting to people, but it's upsetting on purpose."
I admired her confidence, and that very day, I decided to let all the color grow off and embrace my gray hair too. Fourteen months later, almost all the fake highlights are gone, and I found the most glorious hair color underneath. It really surprised me that my natural color streaked with white could be prettier than what I was paying the salon big bucks to do. :)
